New Beginnings

Today is our last day at Nana and Grandpa Steve's. We are off to begin a new chapter in our lives, together with Daddy, in Kernersville. It is a bitter sweet time, as we will surely miss Nana and Grandpa Steve, and being so close to so many of our wonderful and cherished family members! On the other hand, we have longed to live together as a family unit for quite some time and we aren't going to be too far away--13 miles from Cedarwood isn't too bad! Here's to a great new start!

One Month Checkup

Kayla had her one month checkup yesterday and is doing great. She is 10 lbs., 10 ounces, which is in the 90th percentile for weight, and 23 & 3/4 inches which is "off the charts!" We don't know where she got her "height" but it certainly wasn't from either of us! She is healthy and happy and a pleasure to be around.

One Amazing Month

Our little Kayla is one month old today! I can't believe how fun, exhausting, and fast this past month has been!!! We enjoy every minute of her--awake or asleep. Kayla loves to eat, sleep, look at Mom & Dad's faces, and hold her head up. She is starting to smile more, but not on demand. We can't wait to catch more of them on film! Happy One Month, Kayla Grace!
